Editorial policy
This policy explains how content on madcasino-official.org.uk is produced and kept accurate. It applies to every page on the site.
Purpose
Our job is to help adults in the UK understand Mad Casino before they decide whether to use it. Every page should leave a reader better able to make that decision, including the decision not to play.
Independence from income
We are funded by affiliate commission, and we say so on every page. Commercial considerations do not decide what we write. In particular, the licence position, the wagering requirement and the euro currency issue appear prominently, even though they may put some readers off. Nobody at the operator or the affiliate programme approves our copy before publication.
Who writes
All pages are written by our editor, Marcus Ellery, and are signed. Where a page draws on material checked by someone else, that is noted.
Updates
Bonus terms and cashier details change. We check the welcome-stack and cashback terms at least once a month and whenever the operator announces a change, and we review every guide page at least once a quarter. The “Updated” date on each page shows the last time its content was checked, not just edited. New articles are added on a weekly schedule.
Corrections
Errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed. If a correction changes a figure a reader may have relied on, such as a cap or a wagering multiple, we note the change at the foot of the page. Report errors through our contact page.
Language and tone
We write in plain British English for an adult audience. We avoid urgency (“claim now before it ends”), avoid suggesting that gambling solves money problems, and never present gambling as a way to earn income. See our content standards.
