Mad Casino Official Guide UK

Sources policy

This page lists the kinds of source we rely on and the order in which we trust them.

Primary sources

  • The operator’s published documents: general terms and conditions, bonus terms, the cashback rules, the privacy notice and the responsible-gambling page on the Mad Casino site.
  • Regulators and official bodies: the Gambling Commission for the GB regulatory position, GAMSTOP for what self-exclusion covers, HMRC for the tax treatment of winnings, and the Advertising Standards Authority and CAP Code for advertising rules.
  • Game studios: published RTP and volatility information from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO and Evolution, and the in-game information panels.
  • Our own tests: dated records of deposits, withdrawals and support conversations.

Secondary sources

Industry news, player forums and complaint-tracking sites help us notice changes and recurring problems. We treat them as signals to investigate, not as facts to repeat. A forum post saying “withdrawals are slow” leads us to test a withdrawal, not to print the claim.

Support organisations

Safer-gambling information is taken from BeGambleAware, GamCare, GAMSTOP, Gamblers Anonymous and the NHS. Helpline numbers are checked at every quarterly review.

How we cite

Where a reader might want to check a claim, we link to or name the source. Links to support services and regulators are marked nofollow and open in a new tab; they are references, not endorsements of us by those bodies.

Sources we avoid

We do not rely on anonymous review aggregators, unverified screenshots or claims made in promotional emails. We also do not repeat win stories or payout figures that we cannot trace to a primary record.

When sources conflict

If the operator’s terms and its marketing say different things, we follow the terms and point out the difference. If two official sources disagree, we report both and say which one we think applies. Questions about a source can be sent through our contact page.
